Ricky’s Obituary
A celebration of life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, West St. Corner Brook, NL, on September 29th, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Please drop by to share a memory or a chuckle with family and friends of Rick.
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving husband and father. Left to mourn, his wife of 34 years, Debbie (Bennett) Seward and their two children Richard Seward and Victoria Seward (Andrew Taylor). As well as his mother, Josephine Seward, his brother Blaine Seaward, sisters Michelle Savard and Darlene Seaward, all of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; brother-in-law Gary Bennett (Sharon), sister-in-law Sandra Targett; nieces and nephews, Melissa Pepin, Jeffrey Seaward, Mathieu Savard and Emily Hunt, all of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; Ashley Targett and Christopher Bennett; Uncles and aunts, Frank Seaward (June, deceased), Bobby Seaward (Brenda), Gary Seward (Ann Marie) Gerald Seaward (Dallas), Daphne Lilly (Wayne), Patricia Lush (Boyd), Linda Lush (Bruce), Ina Seaward (Derek, deceased) , Stan Beales (Irene), Clarence Galliott (Florence), Loyola Galliott (Ruth). Jim Galliott, Mary Galliott, Judy Adams (Ben), Wanda Galliott, Gary Kelly (Lozanne, deceased). He was predeceased by his father Clifford Seward, in-laws Thomas and Marie Bennett, Grandparents Bob and Jane Seaward, Stan and Myrtle Galliott; Rick had many great friends and acquaintances in life. To mention a few: Johnny Vaters, Jerry Tiller, Cliff Vaters, Barron Sooley, Jonathan Vaters, Charlie Nash and the entire Preston family. Special mention to Bobby Seaward Jr., Rick Lush, Tim Lush and David Galliott for their kindness along Rick’s journey. Many thanks to, Shirley Burke, the nursing staff at 3B, Cardiac Unit as well to Dr. Fudge, Jenny, Sherry, Dr. Penney, Dr. Lafferty, Brad Vaters and Stephen Combden. As per Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No visitation or services have been scheduled for this time for Rick. A celebration of his life and loves will be planned for a future date. Donations may be made to the S.P.C.A in Ricky’s memory.
