Trudelle: Richard
passed away at home, with family by his side on Monday, July 5, 2021 at 73 years of age, after a short battle with cancer. Loving husband of the late Donna (nee Authier) (2016) of 48 years. Proud Dad of Denise Rivait (Darrell Beetham), Kenneth Trudelle (Sandra Divic Trudelle). Proud pepe to Lisa, Mariah and Emily Rivait; Calvin and Aidan Trudelle. Dear friend of Rita Solko. Survived by his siblings, Armand (late Linda), Philippe (Joanne) Trudelle, Janet Batchelder (Richard) and brothers-in-law of Arthur Authier (Beth) and Ron Authier (Jean). Richard will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. After 38 years of service, Richard retired from Heinz in 2002. Richard continued to work at Agris and at his firewood business, only retiring a short time ago. He made many friends along the way. Richard was a man of faith and service along with his fellow members of K of C Council 4555 at St. John the Evangelist Parish, Woodslee. Richard loved farming, fishing, dancing and will always be remembered for making people smile. Family and friends will be received at the Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Ave. E. Es (519 776-4233) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 1690 County Rd. 46, South Woodslee at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Joachim Cemetery at a later date. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation and Mass are limited to a specific number of visitors. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in. Please book an appointment for visitation and Mass. Everyone must wear a mask.
