Obituary for Richard Graham Edgar

The family of Richard G. Edgar is sad to announce his sudden fatal heart attack on June 7, 2021, in Vancouver, BC.
Rick was pre-deceased by his parents, Margaret and Raymond Edgar and leaves behind his cherished daughter, Kimberley (Gage) and his siblings, Greg, Brian, Garth, Douglas & Jane.
Rick was born in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to Vancouver as a young child in 1958. He attended Cecil Rhodes Primary School and then Eric Hamber Secondary. He spent most of his career in building management and maintenance and was a jack of all trades, skilled in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other aspects of building maintenance and renovation.
Rick was very gregarious by nature. He always had time for all he knew and met, to share an amusing story. He was well liked by the people he interacted with. The greatest love of Rick’s life was his beautiful daughter Kimberley. He was always delighted to share photos and memories of her with his friends and associates. He was always a very proud father.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
