Reid’s Obituary
Reid Victor Stevens, long time resident of Berwyn (AB), passed away in Fairview (AB) on September 15, 2021 at the age of 77 years.
Reid was born on February 21, 1944 in New Westminster (BC) to George and Emily Stevens. He joined the Airforce when he was young and then worked in construction before moving to Alberta in 1987. Here he worked many different jobs before becoming the MD of Northern Lights Utility Officer. Reid retired in 2009.
Fishing, camping, gardening, rodeos and horse shows were among Reid’s hobbies. He also raced stock cars in his younger years.
Reid is predeceased by his parents, George and Emily. Left behind to mourn are his daughter, April (Daniel) Sturgeon; son, Ron (Melissa MacArthur) Stevens; grandkids, Raymond (Samantha Tremblay) Nidish, Stephanie Nidish, Hayli (J.P.) Maure, Chantal Stevens; great grand kids, Bensen Nidish, Hudson Nidish, Forrest Nidish, Athena Stevens-MacPherson.
There will be a Memorial Service planned for a later date.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Fairview Long Term Care Facility.
