In Loving Memory of
Raymond Dumoulin
August 27, 1945 –August 3, 2021
It is with great sadness that after weeks of declining health, the family of Raymond Dumoulin announces his passing on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021, at the age of 75 years.
Ray was born August 27, 1945 in Cochrane, ON to Dieudonne “Leo” and Florence (Linklater) Dumoulin. Ray was a quiet and simple man, one of his favorite pastimes were sitting outside listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. You could also find him surrounded by brothers, nephews, and nieces, sitting around the table or a camp fire with their guitars. He was devoted to his family, and adored his grandchildren. They were the light of his life.
Ray is survived and will be greatly missed by his daughter, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Ketcham of Clayton NC; stepdaughter Pauli (Jean Pierre) Genier of Cochrane ON, stepson Barry Beadman (the late Kathleen) of Almonte ON, brother Lawrence (Phyllis) Dumoulin of Cochrane ON, brother Richard Dumoulin of Barrie ON, and sister Ellen (Bill) Koulser. He has 8 grandchildren, Douglas Kavanaugh, Kyler Beadman, Paige Genier, Donovan Ketcham, Shane Dumoulin, Jade Genier, Reagan Ketcham, and Brooke Genier. He was preceded in death by his parents Dieudonne “Leo” and Florence, his devoted wife Darlene Beadman, son Wade Dumoulin, brothers; Donald, Lester, Philippe, Jake, Romeo, Randolph, and sister Louise.
In respect of Raymond’s wishes, no visitation or funeral will take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the March of Dimes Canada or Lady Minto Hospital.
Lastly, the family would like to thank the amazing staff of Villa Minto who took care of Ray throughout the COVID lockdown when they could not be there and afterwards. Words cannot express how grateful we are.
