Ralph’s Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Ralph Thomas Anderson announce his peaceful passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Sunday, September 19th, 2021 at the age of 71 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Ralph was the son of the late Thomas and Eva Anderson (nee MacDonald). He was also predeceased by his grandson; Richard Dwain Osmond, brother-in-law; William Henry Walters, sisters-in-law; Elizabeth (Emmanuel) Caines, Rose Aucoin, and Caroline Snook.
Ralph leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving wife of 52 years; Mary Louise Anderson (nee Walters), his loving children; Leroy (Roberta) Anderson, Tommy (Laverne) Anderson both of Cape Ray, NL, Angela (Ken) Oates of Codroy Valley, NL, grandchildren; Travis, Shane, Jonathan, Aaron, sister; Lorraine (Doug) Seaward of Cape Ray, NL. Ralph also leaves behind his brothers-in-law; Garfield (Annie May) Walters, George (Vivian) Walters both of Isle aux Morts, NL, Joshua (Ada) Walters of Dartmouth, NS, Minter (Loretta) Walters of Burnt Islands, NL, Marina (Alonzo) Hurley of Isle aux Morts, NL, Clem (Madonna) Aucoin of Millville, NL, Cornelius Walters of St. Catharines, ON, Lawrence Snook of Isle aux Morts, NL, sisters-in-law; Ella (Conrad) Davis of Bay d’Espoir, NL, and Emma Walters of Isle aux Morts, NL.
Ralph as an avid camper for twenty plus years and will forever remain in the hearts of his special friends; Kevin and Janet Morris and all his other park family at Crabbes River Park, his special fur buddy Max, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
In keeping with Ralph’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wesley United Church, Channel-Port aux Basques. Interment to follow at the Wesley United Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in Ralph’s memory can be made to the family.
