Rachel Alexandra McCarthy
Rachel Alexandra McCarthy passed away peacefully at home surrounded by
her loved ones on Friday, June 4th 2021.
Rachel is survived by her long time partner, Chad Dunbar, Antigonish;
her mother, Joan McCarthy, Lunenburg; sisters, Victoria Watkins,
Maine and Gay McCarthy, Dartmouth; her half brother, Jamie McCarthy,
Whitehouse and half sister, Sarah McCarthy, Halifax; step-mother,
Lorna McCarthy, Pinevale; parents-in-law, Millie and Paul Dunbar,
Antigonish; brothers- in-law, Ryan and Josh Dunbar and her beloved
nieces and nephews, Ainsley, Nathaniel, Jack, Amelia, Sophie and her
many loving friends.
Predeceased by her father, John McCarthy and grandparents, Ainsley and
Mary Fralick and Edward and Louise McCarthy.
From the day Rachel was born she was a beautiful, intelligent,
independent person. Rachel was an amazing entrepreneur. She made
everything she touched beautiful while providing fashion tips along
the way. She was carefree, fun, and lived everyday to the fullest
inspiring all of us to try and do the same.
Forever in our hearts you will be greatly missed Rachie.
Rachel will be interned at Park Cemetery, Mahone Bay.
