Phillip «Phil» Roberts
1950-2021
We are saddened to announce the passing of Phillip
«Phil» Roberts on Monday, November 15, 2021 at The Moncton
Hospital. He was born in River Hebert, NS to the late Lenard Roberts
and Margeret Burke.
Phil did a little bit of everything during his career but
loved working on small engines most of all. He could tinker with any
kind of old machinery until he got it going again and considered
himself to be a jack-of-all-trades. His skills even extended to newer
items like keyboards and computers. He loved his little piece of land,
telling stories, and enjoyed a simple life. He was always good to his
friends and would help with anything that was asked of him, but he was
stubborn and always had to be right.
Besides his parents, Phil is predeceased by a daughter who
died at birth. He is survived by a daughter Tammy, son Cody, sister
Marjorie Ferguson, grandchildren Keethan and Braxton, nephew Robert
«Bob», and will be missed most of all by his friend and
neighbor Carl Murray, friend Renee (Maskery) Comfort, and his lifelong
friend Kenny Comfort.
Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road
in Riverview (869-2007). In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of
the donor’s choice may be made in his memory.
