Philip Henry Michael Hunt, age 75, of RR#5 Embro passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on December 15, 2021. Born in St. Marys, son of the late Ernest and Edith (Lee) Hunt.
Beloved husband of Lynda (Kirkham). Loving father of Philip Jr. (Lanie), Amanda Marple (Alex), Jodi Fraser (Donny), Lindsay Hunt and daughter-in-law Serena Hunt. Grandfather of Jordan, Nicole (Cody), Logan, Hunter, Kaden, Landon, Devon, Noah and Teagan. Great grandfather of Journey, Samirah and Rohan. Also survived by his sister Marg Crawford (Jack – deceased), brother-in-law Ivan Kirkham (Linda – deceased), sisters-in-law Barb Elliott (Jack), Kris Kirkham and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by 6 brothers and 1 sister.
A celebration of Phil’s life will be held at the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans Hall, 151 Lorne Avenue, East, Stratford on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. Proof of double vaccination and photo ID required.
