It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Penny Gail Estey announce her passing on May 9, 2021. A truly beautiful soul gone much too soon.
Penny will be forever missed by her husband of 25 years, Rodney Estey; son Todd Lyons (Rebecca); daughter Shannon Estey (Bradley) and Nanny’s favorite little man Owen who was indeed the apple of her eye. As well as her faithful companion Rusty.
Born on October 12, 1960 to parents Barbara and Mannie Lyons. Penny is survived by her brothers Dale (Nancy) and Richard (Margie); brothers-in law, Jeff Estey, Carl Estey (Gail) and Derrick Estey (Brandy); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a whole village of cousins growing up that formed a bond which still exists to this day.
Waiting to greet her on the other side is her brother Michael; grandparents Christina and Freeman Lyons; Devota and Murray Arbeau; Hugh MacLean; mother-in-law Kay Estey; sister- in- law Donna Carhart; brother-in- law Roger Estey; nephews, Shawn Lyons and Harley Estey; several aunts and uncles.
Penny lived life to the fullest and was very welcoming to everyone she met. Being of such a loving and caring person. Penny had a special place in many hearts, far too many to name. She will be missed dearly by those far and wide. She touched many lives and formed many bonds over her short time here. We were not ready to let her go, she will be missed forever, loved always and never forgotten.
A celebration of Penny’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Chipman Funeral Home & Crematorium (339-6612). Memories and condolences may be shared through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca.
