Obituary of Opal Miller
Entered into rest peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday June 24, 2021. Opal Gladys (Mercier) Miller. Beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tommy) Miller, loving mother of Linda MacKinnon (Charlie) and Loreen Hodge (Ralph). Opal will be missed by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a daughter Lorna, her son Larry, her parents Vincent and Ida (Mercier) Miller, sisters Myrtle and Cora, brothers Cecil, Harold, Gerald, Edward, Allan, Bill and Donald.
Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Celebration of Opal’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memory of Opal, donations to First Methodist Church Athens, Sherwood Park Manor or the Charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
