Normand DesRoches, husband of Marguerite (Girouard) DesRoches of Ironman Road, Miramichi NB, passed away Tuesday September 22, 2020 at the age of 79.
Born in Lagacéville NB, he was the son of the late Cyrille and Laurette (Brideau) DesRoches. He was a retired truck driver broker for CN and a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Besides his wife Marguerite, he is survived by one daughter Ginette DesRoches of Cocagne, two sons, Guy DesRoches of Ontario and Daniel DesRoches of Riverview, five sisters, Dorine Brideau, Claudette Comeau, Raymonde Gionet, Claudine St Coeur and Linda Losier, six brothers, Elmer, Romeo, Donald, Yvon, Francis and Alvin, four grandchildren, Amanda Browne, Samanthe DesRoches, Danika DesRoches and Jennifer Browne, one great grandchild Luna Browne.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son Gilles, two brothers, Gerald and Joseph, one sister Yvonne.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation. The Funeral Service will be held at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2 pm with Father John Beaumaster officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton.
