Norma Jeanette Urchak
Norma Jeanette Urchak of Edmonton, AB, formerly of Regina, SK, passed away on December 9, 2020, as a result of Covid-19. She is survived by her sisters, Dian (Bill) Klein, Esther McAfee, and Rose Johnston; brother, Len (Lee) Gellner; sister-in-law, Janie (Ken) Zahara; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Pat; parents, Martin and Lily Gellner; two sisters and two brothers.
Norma enjoyed travelling, shopping, and collecting beautiful things. Her personal style was awesome, garnering many compliments. Norma took pride in her appearance. Her late husband Pat loved to take her photograph.
Norma managed the Imperial Oil cafeteria for most of her working career, where she was a wonderful hostess and always served exceptional food. She opened her heart and home to a family of friends. Norma also contributed her kitchen skills to her church, where she made many dear friends.
Thank you to the special people who have cared for Norma in so many ways.
A Celebration of Norma’s Life will held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 5015 144 Avenue, Edmonton, AB, with Reverend Lucretia van Ommeren-Tabbert officiating.
