HARTWIG, Nelson Wilmer
November 19, 1941 – November 28, 2021
Passed away peacefully at Valley Manor, Barry’s Bay, on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the age of 80. Formerly of Killaloe.
Beloved husband of the late Rosemary Hartwig (Jessup) for 46 years. Proud father of Cheryl (Ed Glofcheskie) Kerry (Judy) and Jamie (Amy.) Loving Poppie to Tom, Willie, Maggie, Jake & Hannah.
Son of the late Henry & Alice Hartwig. Nelson is survived by his brother Arthur (Vera) and sister-in-law Dorothy. Predeceased by his daughter Donna; and his siblings & their spouses, Harold, Gilbert and Gwen, Vera and Elmer, Allen and Marge, Hazel and Gilbert, Lawrence and Leona, Gennie and Willard. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday morning at Calvary Baptist Church, Killaloe commencing at 11 o’clock.
