Obituary of Neil Wayne White
WHITE, NEIL WAYNE
The passing of Neil Wayne White of Fredericton, NB, husband of Catherine (Grattan) White, occurred on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 31, 1954 in Marysville, NB, he was a son of the late Douglas and Bernadine (Estabrooks) White.
In addition to his wife Cathy of Miramichi, NB , Neil is survived by his daughters, Karen White (Jess Svarc) and Krista White; grandson, Robbie Greene; and brother, Brian White of Edmonton, AB. Besides his parents, Neil was predeceased by his brother, Bruce White.
Neil was a child at heart and a friend to all. He loved chatting with neighbors, Tim Hortons coffee, and the Montreal Canadians. He worked many years in construction and was handy and had a mind for numbers.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 2-4 pm. Those attending the visitation will need to provide proof of vaccinations and government issued ID. Masks will also be required. Interment will take place following the visitation in the Marysville Baptist Cemetery with Dave Hardy officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
