N. Marie LeBlanc
1944-2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Novella
« Marie » LeBlanc of Lincoln NB, announce her passing
at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in the early morning
hours of Saturday, May 15, 2021. Marie was born at St. Stephen,
Charlotte Co., NB on February 9, 1944, a daughter of the late Victor
and Bertha Lillian (Moulton) Hannan.
Marie was a strong and vibrant woman of faith and endeared
herself to many with her positive and encouraging spirit. She will be
dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A loving and devoted mother, Marie is survived by her two
children who will miss her presence so very much, daughter, Karylann
Palmer (Darryl) and her son Jay Sperry both of Fredericton. She dearly
loved her five grandchildren who always made her heart smile, Jamie,
Aleisha, Stephanie, Christopher and Angel; her eight
great-grandchildren brought so much sunshine in her life, Twila, Mya,
Nevaeh, Lydia, Cierra, Kaison, Elara and Asher. Marie will be greatly
missed by her four siblings, sister, Madeline Hannan and brothers,
Allison, Leonard and Ronald Hannan. Marie is also survived by her
son-in-law, Robert MacPherson as well as a number of nieces and
nephews. Dear to Marie’s heart were her three very special
chosen children, whom she loved very much, Mary, Brenda and Jason
Chisholm.
In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her
first husband, James R.R. Sperry (1985); her second husband, Joseph
« Eddie » LeBlanc (2018); a daughter, Kimberly
MacPherson and a son Mark Sperry.
A visitation will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home on
Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service
will be held from the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May
19th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Paul Ingraham officiating. Interment to
follow in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery. Due to limited seating we kindly
ask that those who wish to attend the service call Oromocto Funeral
Home at (506) 357-5100 to reserve seats.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors
and nurses at the Chalmers Hospital for their kindness, care and
support while Marie was a patient there. A special thanks to
Marie’s guardian angel, Mabel, who devoted herself to caring
for Marie with such love and tenderness. You will never be
forgotten.
For those who wish to make a memorial contribution in memory
of Marie, the family have requested that donations be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society or the NB Heart and Stroke
Foundation.
