Obituary of Myrna Pennell
It is with sad hearts, the family of Katherine Myrna Pennell (nee Aube), announce her passing on Monday, September 27, 2021.
She was born in Newcastle NB in 1935, daughter of the late Norma (Taylor) and late Vincent Aube. Mom attended Teachers College in Fredericton and taught at Minto High School and Moncton High School. She then worked for many years for GNB, first in Fredericton at the Department of Transportation and then for the Department of Labour and Manpower in Saint John.
Mom spent her retirement years in Tenants Cove, Kars, a place that brought her great joy. She and late husband Garnet, spent winter months in Mesa Arizona for a number of years.
She will live on in the hearts of her children: Philip Chapman, Lac La Biche Alberta; Peter Chapman, Kars and Patti Healey, Hampton. Her grandchildren, Kimberlee Hissom, Katherine Healey and Christopher Healey and her great grandchild, AspenRose Hissom as well as extended family members.
Predeceased by her husband,Garnet Pennell; son, Paul Chapman and sister, Nona Burlton.
Please remember our Mom as a person who loved to laugh, loved her God and lived life to the fullest.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, Sus, NB. At the family’s request, all arrangements will be held privately.
The family wish to thank the staff at the Kiwanis Senior Care Home in Sus and the Sus Hospital for all their kindness, care and support.
