Obituary of Muriel Florence Leggett
Past president of Christ Church, Roches Point, ACW for 30 years and past volunteer of Georgina Food Pantry for 25 years.
Peacefully with her family by her side in Keswick on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the age of 97 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas “Bud” Leggett (2011). Beloved mother of Tom Leggett (Margaret) of Fenelon Falls and Mary (Terry Watson) of Keswick. Cherished grandmother of Jeff (Teresa), Jeremy (Tracy), Michael (Shari), Richard (Priscilla), Brett (Laura), Steven, Katherine (Barry) and great-grandmother of Joshua, Justin, Ashleigh, Ryan, Alissondra, Christopher, Arianna, Caleb and Brooklyn. Dear sister of Edna Archibald (late Harvey), Mary Vernon (late Roy), Ray Dart (late Lynne) and predeceased by Vera Dart, William “Bill” Dart (surviving wife Jean) and Bob Dart (surviving wife Winnie). The family will receive friends at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, Ontario on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 p.m. noon. (Current COVID restrictions include mandatory wearing of masks and adhering to 2m social distancing and only allowing 30 people by invitation only). Interment to follow at Briar Hill Cemetery, 5500 Black River Road, Sutton.
