Muriel Aldena Ward of Chipman, NB died peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 89 years. Muriel was born in Chipman, NB on April 1, 1932 daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle (Clark) Legassie. She is survived by sister-in-laws, Linda Legassie, Dorothy Legassie and Jackie Brown; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents; husband Norman “Ted” Ward in 1994; brothers, Lester, Ronnie, Merton and Vaughn; sisters, Leona Clark and Aleta Huestis.
Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at the Red Bank United Church Cemetery at 1:30 pm following the visitation.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Second Chipman United Baptist Church or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
