It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved father and grandfather Rocky Walter Morrow, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 11, 2021 at the age of 81 years.
He will be cherished and forever remembered by his sons; George Morrow (Jody), Rocky (Lorraine) Morrow, his prides of joy, granddaughter Sidney and grandsons; Jesse and Chance, his former spouse Virginia, along with many other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents (Joseph and Rose) his brothers (Frank & Bill) and sisters (Helena & Florence).
Rocky was a passionate bowler and belonged to the Master Bowling Association of Alberta for many years. Every Saturday morning from Fall to Spring you would find him at the bowling alley coaching children in the sport he loved. His crowning glory was achieving the highest triple score (1,018) during league play that he accomplished in the 1988/89 bowling season at Fort Leisure Lanes.
As per Rocky’s wishes cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date.
The family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the staff of the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital Emergency Department for the care and comfort given during this very difficult time as well as the staff of Fort Saskatchewan Homecare and Dr. Turner Lodge.
Memorial Donations in Rocky’s honor may be made directly to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Alberta Kidney Foundation or the Fort Saskatchewan Youth Bowling Program.
