It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing at the Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury, on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the age of 66 years. Daughter of the late Léonard and late Dolores (née Farmer) Roy. Wife of the late Lawrence Mirka. Loving mother of David Mirka (Julie) and Lee-Ann Mirka (Amber Boucher). Cherished grandmother of Makayla and Ty. Beloved sister of Pierrette Morin (late Claude), Marie-Paule Chiasson, late Jacqueline Lapierre (René), late Gilles Roy (Jane), Marcel Roy (Janet), Jean-Paul Roy (Lise), Bernard Roy (Lana), Gisèle Methé (Normand), Lise Coleman (Ron), Hélène Vachon (Robert), Françoise Pinsent and Mona Montpellier (Clément). Fondly remembered and sadly missed by her special Godson Todd Coleman as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. There is a limit to how many people may attend and everyone must wear a mask during the service. In Memory of Monique, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
