It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Monique Frenette, wife of Jean-Paul Frenette of Robertville, which occurred suddenly on Wednesday May 26th, 2021, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, after a brief illness at the age of 60.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Lucien Savoie and late Alfreda White.
Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her only daughter, Tracy (Norbert) Bernatchez of Robertville.
Two very special granddaughters: Cindy and Zoe whom she loved so much. They will always be memere’s girls.
Also left to cherish her memory are her four sisters: Jocelyne David (late Alfred) of Big River, Denise Benoit (Lucien) of Robertville, Gisele Ross (Paul) and Debbie Savoie all of Bathurst.
Three brothers: Raymond Savoie (Fernande), Gilles Savoie both of Bathurst and Daniel Savoie (Lisa) of Robertville.

She will also be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
She is now resting peacefully beside her parents, sister Claudette, brothers: Robert, Jean-Claude and Roger, brother in laws: Albeni Chiasson and Alfred David and her father-in-law Lorenzo Frenette.
Monique was known by her family and friends by the nicknames of: Skunk and The Queen. She was larger than life, she loved big and made sure everyone around her felt special, happy and important. She had many friends and her doors were always open with plenty of food.
She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her, especially by her BINGO family.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday June 2nd at 11 a.m. from Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila Church in Robertville. Masks are required and physical distancing measures will be in place.
Donations in memory of Monique can be made to the SPCA, the Children’s Wish Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
