MELVYN M. RUSSELL
Of Sprucedale
After a brief illness at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Friday November 5, 2021. Melvyn Russell, beloved husband of Patricia, was in his 80th year.
Proud father of Bryan and Kelly Russell.
Dear grandfather of Ava Russell and Aydan and Alec Russell.
Beloved son of the late Dick and Gladys Russell and predeceased by sister Marian Boddy.
Nephew of Alice Brear (Harry).
Melvyn will be fondly remembered by all his cousins, nieces, nephews, other family, friends and especially by his lifelong friend Gary Dailey.
A graveside service to celebrate Melvyn’s life will be conducted in the Berriedale Cemetery, 202 Pevensey Road, Burk’s Falls commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Friday November 12, 2021, with Pastor Don Nicholson officiating.
If desired, memorial donations to the Faith Chapel in Sprucedale would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls.
