It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Jeworski on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the age of 70.
Maureen was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother and sister.
She courageously fought her two-year battle with cancer. Her resilience and positive attitude kept her fighting until the end. Her love and dedication to family and love of her work brought much pleasure to her life as she loved conversing and working to help her patients as a dedicated Contact Lens Technician at what was Drs. Thatcher, Hanna and McKimery Optometrist Office now known as FYI Vision Downtown. She also enjoyed vacationing in Mexico and of course she loved camping.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband Larry; her sons Blair (Angie), Darcy and grandson Daytona (Amanda) Travis; her stepchildren Cheri (Brent) and Jerrad (Ashley) Jeworski; siblings Diane (Larry) Chapman and Vivian (Blaine) Engel. She will also be remembered by her nephew, niece, great-niece, great-nephews and cousins.
Maureen was predeceased by her parents Emil and Marie Frank; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Rudy and Kathy Jeworski.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Much appreciation is given to Dr. Zarkovic, Dr. Ferguson, Nurse Patricia and to all the Palliative Care Team.
Flowers most gratefully declined. Donation may be made in memory of Maureen Jeworski to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK.
