It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Matthew Sean Morin. Beloved son, grandson, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Matthew was an amazing artist, writer and conversationalist, who had the gift of being able to talk with and befriend everyone. In his youth Matt was an avid skateboarder, softball player (Avalon and Eastview), and hockey player (Flyers). Joyful summers were spent at YMCA and Blackstrap Youth camp, Sargents horse camp, picnics and rides at Kinsmen Park with gramma and cousins; ice cream and burgers at DQ; trips to grandpa and grandmas farm; Edmonton, Nelson, Vancouver and Victoria. Matthew was a true northerner and outdoorsman, loving and living most of his adult years in northern Saskatchewan. Pride in his Metis and Irish roots were seen in his tattoos, actions and words. Matthew was a kind and gentle giant, whose presence and smile would light up a room. When Matthew entered a room he made everyone feel big. When he left, the room felt smaller than it did before. We will always remember Matt for his compassion for others, unconditional love, hugs, kisses on top of our heads and I Love You! Forever in our hearts!
Interment August 14, 2021 at St. Cyr Cemetery, Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.
