Surrounded by family, our Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and soon-to-be Great-Grandmother Mary Evelyn Look-Kan became our guardian angel on April 10, 2021, at the age of 59.
She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Chris Look-Kan. Loving mother of Vanessa Hewitson (Aaron), Evelyn Quigley (Jarrod), Bobby Hewitson (Shyla). Cherished grandmother of Anthony (Paige), Quinn, Kaylee, Owen, Lily, and Grayson. Dear sister of William Hooey (Mary) of Toronto, Bob Hooey (Jerri) of Owen Sound, Cindy Fair (Shawn) of Owen Sound, and Norma-Lynn DeAndrade (Nelson) of Brampton. Predeceased by her parents Norman Hooey, Norma and Ken Osborne.
In her younger years, she enjoyed baton twirling and gymnastics. As she grew older, she coached gymnastics at Alexander School and Baton Twirling through Grey Bruce Twirlers. She was an active volunteer in various sports that her children and grandchildren participated in such as gymnastics, hockey, baton, football, baseball, and boy scouts. She worked in the payroll and finance department for several years at Windsor Regional Hospital and Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare. She had quite the green thumb and firmly believed that “you can never have too many flowers” in a garden!
It was with her brothers and sisters at Amherstburg Community Church where she started her walk with Jesus. Learning to put his lessons of love, faith, and hope into action. Moving forward she wanted people to know that she was, and still is a child of God.

Her cherished memories will forever be held in the hearts of her family, friends, co-workers as well as her fellow brothers and sisters of God. She will be fondly remembered and missed by everyone who loved her.
