Mary Evelyn Squirrell (nee Fraser Brown) passed away peacefully at Riverwood Senior Living in Alliston Ontario on Thursday December 24. 2020 in her 98th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Elwood Squirrell (1990) and mother to Glen (Penny), Bill (Janice) and Lois (David Metz). Mary was Grandmother to Mary Beth Squirrell (Rob Poppenberger), David Squirrell (Corey), Jon Squirrell (Jesse), Julianne Squirrell; Laura Goode (Chris) Colin Squirrell (Jen); Lindsey Metz and Jordan Metz. She was the Great Grandmother of Suzie and Jenny Squirrell in Calgary, Adilyn, Sawyer and Levi Squirrell, Ben and Cate Goode and Winter-Lee Squirrell. Mary spent almost her entire life farming on the 3rd line of Melancthon north of Shelburne. We would like to thank the staff at Riverwood Senior Living for their kind and compassionate care for Mary. If desired, donations to Headwaters Health Care Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. A private family Service will take place, and Interment at the Shelburne Cemetery where Mary will be laid to rest with Elwood.
