It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Mary Ellen Kelly (Carew) passed away peacefully March 26, 2021at The Health Sciences Centre at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Walter Kelly, son Thomas Kelly, Mother and Father Anne Carew and Walter Carew. Daughter in law Bernece Kelly. Sister Margaret Langer and brother Thomas Carew. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of love and wonderful memories her son James Kelly, daughters Elizabeth Follett (Gene), Theresa Oliver (Gary), Joan French (Len). Her grandchildren whom she absolutely adored Jamie Kelly (Laura), Nicholle French (Darryll), Rochelle Oliver (Christo Stassis), Lenny French (Charlotte), Zachary French. Her beautiful dearest great-grandchildren Robyn Kelly, Leah Kelly and Logan Kelly. Her cherished sister and brother Catherine Coombs, Hearts Desire and Walter Carew, Alderwood Retirement Centre. Also, many nieces and nephews whom she thought the world of. She especially looked forward to her many phone calls from her niece Mona Coombs Marsh.
Mom was a beautiful soul whose radiant smile could light up a room. She had the kindest heart and loved her family and friends above everything. We will miss her more than words can ever express but her spirit will live on in us all.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of mom’s life will take place at a later date.
