DREW, Marion Rose “Mary” ~ Age 75, of Middleton, Annapolis Co., formerly of Berwick, Kings Co. Our beautiful Mary passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on February 28, 1946, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin J. and Nellie A. (Thorpe) Rafuse. Mary worked as a waitress at Rice’s Restaurant, Berwick, Rainbow Restaurant, Kingston and Anne’s Restaurant, Kentville. She had also work as a salesclerk at Wades Grocery Store, Coldbrook. Mary loved to sing and play piano. She loved to cook and bake special desserts. Surviving are her companion who was the love of her life, Roland, Wilmot; daughter, Terri Ann Marshall (Bob), Middleton; son, Peter Rogers, Ontario; grandchildren, Mandy, Katie, Becky, Brian, Jasmine, Nathaniel, Leeanne and Jarod; great grandchildren, Jaeden, Malichi, Trinity, Dominic, Mia, Isabelle, Noah, Alex and Vincent; sister, Gloria (the late Theodore) Keddy, South Berwick; brother, Terrance “Terry” Rafuse, Lower Sackville. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by several children in infancy; brother, Richard. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in Berwick Cemetery, at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to I.W.K. Health Centre Foundation, Halifax, or to your favourite charity.
