WITTICH
Marilyn Elizabeth Wittich, formerly of Hanover, passed away at Forest Heights Long Term Care in Kitchener on Sunday, January 3, 2021. She was 74.
Born on July 7, 1946 in Hanover to the late John and Gertrude (nee Wilhelm) Frank. Marilyn had a heart of gold and will be remembered by many when she worked at Heintzman’s Piano Factory in Hanover. Family described her as a very loving person that enjoyed dressing up « to the nines » and listening to her Elvis. She had a soft spot for everything Avon and you can find all sorts of catalogues and product throughout her home. It was only recently with her declining health that she was moved to a long term home in Kitchener.
Survived by children David Wittich of Hanover, Janine (Jamie) Sim of Durham and Brian (Nelly) Wittich of Cambridge. Loved grandmother of Jessica (Jordan) Ferraro, Monica Baetz (Nate McGuigan), Shawn Baetz and Jacob Sim. She was over the moon when she became a great grandma to Aiden, who will grow up hearing great stories about great grandma. Loved sister of Eileen King of Hanover, Gordon (Karla) Frank of Kitchener, and sister in law of Doris Watson of Mississauga. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents, daughter in law Dorothy Wittich, brother Harold Frank, sister in law Dianne Frank and brother in law Bernald King.
Due to COVID-19 and Provincial Restrictions with gatherings, a Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 10:30 am through the Mighton Funeral Home Facebook page: www.facebook.com/Mighton-Funeral-Home-Ltd-109625187108921 . Father Emmanuel Asike officiating. Interment to follow in Hanover Cemetery.
