Reeves-Chatfield, Marilyn Marie – 76, Pugwash Junction, We the family are saddened to announce that our loving wife and mother has passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, with her family by her side, at the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in Joggins, she was a daughter of the late Bedford and Violet (Vincent) Langille. Mom enjoyed family gatherings, bingo, watching the hummingbirds and decorating for the holidays. She had been employed at Oxford Frozen Foods for over 20 years. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Edward Chatfield; sons, Corwin (Geraldine) Reeves, Pugwash; Bobby (Tina) Reeves, Brule; Nicholas (Marilee) Reeves, Bible Hill; grandchildren, Paula, Amelia, Stephanie, Anthony, Chelsea, Vincent, Zac; great grandchildren, Taylor and Jorja; step children, Stacey (Lori) Chatfield, Selford, Ont.; Steven (Liz Dalton) Chatfield, Woodstock, Ont.; Angela (Angelo) Fonseca, London, Ont., and their families; siblings, Carol (Lloyd) Smith, Lamont, Alberta; Betty Milner, Amherst; Joycelyn (Andy) Yarrow, Pugwash Jct.; Wilbert (Linda) Langille, Redcliff, Alberta; sisters in law, Virginia, Eunice, Charlene; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Winston Reeves; brothers, Raymond, Alfred, Charles and a sister in infancy. Due to Covid-19 there will be no public services. A private graveside service will take place at a later date in the Eaton Cemetery, Pugwash Junction. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the care and kindness given to Marilyn over the past few years. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Canadian Diabetes Association or the Eaton Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mundle’s Funeral Home, Pugwash.
