Obituary of Marie Cachia
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marie Rosaria Cachia, in her 89th year, on Monday April 12, 2021 at Martindale Gardens in Milton. Lasting memories of Marie are that she was a hard working figure of strength who never waned in her support and love of her family. She soldiered on with grace, compassion and kindness even when times were tough. Her gentle soul and kind heart will be missed by all who knew her. Marie was the beloved wife of Edward for 70 years. Left to love and remember her forever are her children Tony (Christy), Cathy (Greg), Mark, Myra, Nadine (Pat) and Alex. Marie was the loved Nunna of Matt (Renee), Paul (Jade), Laura, Max, Rachel, Adrian, Regan and Tom. Marie also leaves behind three great grandchildren, John, Brice and Reilly. Our family wishes to thank the dedicated and caring staff at Martindale Gardens who looked after Marie in her final year. A funeral mass will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Georgetown. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. Donations to the Alzheimer Foundation or Arthritis Society in her memory would be appreciated.
