It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of
Marian Phyllis Osmond, 89, of Gulf Shore
formally of Springhill. Marian passed away at home with her loving
family by her side on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
Born in Wallace, NS, she was a daughter of the late Alden
James and Muriel (Jamieson) Langille.
Marian enjoyed playing Bridge with her Tuesday Night Bridge
Club. She was known and loved by everyone that knew her. Marion worked
for Canada Employment Centre for 20 years and at CIBC for 15 years
before that.
Marian is survived by her sons Kelly of Amherst; Stephen
(Michelle) Osmond and daughter, Jacki both of Gulf Shore; sister
Barbara (Bob) Osmelak of Moose Jaw, SK; grandchildren Matthew Moffatt,
Marci Osmond, Cal (Jen) Osmond, Brent (MJ) Osmond and Melissa (Ryan)
Smith; 11 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband
Reginald « Rud » and an infant son, Francis; brothers Donald
(Joyce), Hugh (Jane) and Peter; sisters Peg Shea, Geraldine (Lewis)
Hodges and Bertha (Ed) Legere.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, (902-597-2361). Honouring Marian’s wishes, cremation has taken
place and there will be no service.
Donations in memory of Marian may be made to LA Animal
Shelter or Canadian Cancer Society.
