KOHUT, Maria (Mary) (nee Harasymchuk)
Peacefully at Ivan Franko Home, Toronto, on October 29th, 2021, at the age of 96. Maria was born on August 4,1925 in Rosa, Manitoba, the 2nd of 7 children born to Fedor and Wasylyna. The family moved to Toronto in 1937 and lived on Draper St., where Maria lived up until a few years ago. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Wasyl (William), her son Walter, and her brothers and sisters. Maria will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Katherine (nee Pidzamecky) and her grandchildren Paul (Viola) and Hanya (Yuri), as well as her nieces, nephews and her sisters-in-laws. The family would like to thank the staff at Ivan Franko Home for their care and compassion. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard) on Thursday November 4th, 2021. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Please contact the funeral home at 416-745-7555 if you would like to attend the service. Interment Prospect Cemetery.
