Ferreira, Maria Ascensao – Passed away peacefully
at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday June 7, 2021 at the age
of 72. Loving and devoted wife of Manuel. Maria
will be sadly missed by her son Luis (Margaret) and their children
Jesse and Melissa, her son Paulo (Maria Bernardete) and their son
Sergio (Ashley), her daughter Carmen (Jorge) and their children Andre
and Bruno, her daughter Elisabete (Victor) and their children
Victoria, Olivia and Julia, her great-grandchildren Autumn and
Ava. Maria will also be sadly missed by her mother Maria dos
Anjos Costa Farias, her siblings Theresa Trinidade, Antonio Farias,
Joao Manuel Farias and Mario Farias, as well as her extended family
and friends. Predeceased by her father Jose Pavao
Farias. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St.,
Cambridge where family and friends will be received on Monday June 14,
2021 from 5-9p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of
Fatima Roman Catholic Church. Elgin St. S., Cambridge, on Tuesday June
15, 2021 at 9:30a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn
Cemetery. Provincial Guidelines are in place for social
distancing and masks are mandatory for each person in
attendance. To reserve your 15 minutes to meet with the
family at the Funeral Home, or to reserve for the Funeral Mass, please
