She was born on a homestead near Plenty, Saskatchewan, moving to Saskatoon at age five where she lived for the rest of her life.
Mom’s priority was her family and she was a stay-at-home mom until all her children were in school. Later she enjoyed her work at a nursing home.
Throughout her life, she loved to bake and care for her house plants, especially African Violets. She became an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan after attending a game at Skydome.
Mom was an accomplished knitter and each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren were gifted sweater sets and blankets. In her later years she donated many items to various organizations such as the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit at RUH, various nursing homes in Saskatoon and items for fundraising craft fairs.
A private celebration of her life will be held on August 5, 2021.
In lieu of flowers please consider a charitable donation to Salvation Army, War Amps or the Lung Association which were her charities of choice.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Margaret
