Lee was predeceased by her parents Jack and Grace; her brother John; her sister Colleen; her friend Sandy McDonald and special friend Gilbert.
Lee was a single mother and put herself through university, getting her degree in Education. Lee followed in her mother’s footsteps being very involved in the Metis community as well as being an active member on many boards throughout her life. Lee had a love of travelling and visited Ireland, Mexico, the East Coast of Canada and a great number of other places throughout Canada and the United States, joining an RV group called the “Lone Rangers” with her friends from Alberta.
Lee was the matriarch of the family and loved to spend time with them at any chance she got. She loved going to bingo with her sisters, playing cards and planning multiple family and community events. Lee became a grannie for the first time in 1994 and took great pride in being referred to as “Grannie” not only to her grandchildren but also to her great-nieces and great-nephews.
Lee wants her siblings to know how much she truly loved them and for them to never forget how important they were to her. Lee would like to send a huge Thank You to her nieces Samantha, Jordyn and Blaire for helping her tend to her home when she was no longer able to do this.
Mom wanted to spend her final days at home surrounded by her family. This would not have been possible without the help of her baby sister Sandy and for that we cannot thank you enough.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada at www.heartandstroke.ca
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Margaret Lee Lucille Rejc December 2nd 2021..
