In loving memory of Margaret Hupas (nee Legat) 94 years. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Margaret on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Rudi predeceased in 2001. Loving mother of Harry (Susie predeceased) of Germany and Brigitte Beaudry (Gerry) of Sudbury. Cherished Oma to her grandchildren Floyd, Aaron (Christine), Tara (Mike), Tammy (Rodney), Bruce (Ashley), and Randy (Melissa), and great grandchildren Emmett, Charlie, Raiden, and Alexis. Margaret is the last of 4 sisters to meet her maker, predeceased by sisters Rosa, Theresa, and Anna, also Frieda who was just like a sister to her.
Margaret was born in Brand, Germany on May 5th, 1927 and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1956. She worked for many years as a cook at Fred’s Delicatessen. She loved spending time with her family, travelling, enjoyed playing Bingo and feeding her chipmunks in the summer. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
At Margaret’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with entombment alongside her husband in the Civic Mausoleum on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 at 11 am.
