Mabel Hannah Bruce – Long time member of the Singing Seniors, you may have met her as Minnie Pearl at the Moose Hee Haw, Mabel volunteered with local organizations like Red Hats Peterborough, Women of the Moose Chapter 1105 and K-40 club. Entered into rest at Ross Memorial Hospital Lindsay on Friday February 19, 2021 with her family at her bedside. Mabel was the beloved wife of the late Les Bruce and predeceased by husband Donald Vader (1970). Loving mother of Gordon (Susan) Vader, Wanetta Vader (Keith Middleton), Marlin (Cindy) Vader and son-in-laws Richard Gerrow and Gerry Gerrow. Fondly remembered by her step children Pamela (Robert) Wilson, Malcolm Bruce. Predeceased by son Maurice, and daughters Laurell Gerrow, Doloris Vader, Simone Gerrow, and step son Allan Bruce also daughter-in-law Cheryl Bruce. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Michael, Carl, Suzy, and Sharon Vader; Carrie, Darryl Gerrow: Rhiannon Vader-Rikhof, Elizabeth and Joshua Gerrow; Erin, Brenna and Tara Middleton Vanessa, Andrew, Nathan Vader; Craig and Cheryl Wilson; Ashley and Evan Bruce. Dear great grandmother of Liam Hewitt, Spencer Vader and Clairissa Vader, Logan, Jocelyn, Luke Gerrow, Evelynn Gardner, Aria Vader-Zahra, Emma and Kaylen Wilson. Predeceased by her great grandson Mitchell Wilson. Service will take place and follow Covid-19 protocol by appointment only. Booking through www.mackeys.ca will allow your attendance. Funeral services with a maximum of 50 attendees will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Lindsay, Ontario Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m..
