Lorraine Ast of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, November 8th, 2021 at the age of 90 years. Lorraine leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Kathy (Bruno) Fried; sons, Eugene (Peggy) Ast and Owen Ast; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and their families. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Rose McBride; six brothers and one sister. Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. The Funeral Service will be held at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 12th, 2021 at 1:30 pm with Bishop Doran Jensen officiating. There will be a public viewing held on November 12, 2021 from 12:30 – 1:25 pm. A private interment will follow at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Lorraine’s memory may be made to Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, 200, 119 – 14th Street NW, Calgary, AB T1A 7L5.
