On July 8, 2021 Lieselotte Charlotte Siemens slipped free of earthly bonds to join her sisters, mother & father. Known to all simply as Lotte, she was endowed with a great sense of humour, strong work ethic and iron dedication to her family. Born 21 March 1929 to Ludwig & Elise Hörauf in Zweibrücken Germany, Lotte was the youngest of 5 sisters. Living through the 2nd World War as a young lady had a profound effect on her character, strengthening it as few other experiences are apt to do. As a single mother working hard to get by, she met the love of her life Henry working in the canteen on RCAF base 3 Wing Zweibrücken. Lotte & Henry were married in Gimli Manitoba, continuing the nomadic Air Force life until settling in Okanagan Falls on Henry’s retirement from the Air Force in 1976. Lotte is survived by son Helmuth, granddaughter Tamara Farac & grandson Steven Siemens.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Lieselotte Charlotte Siemens July 8th 2021..
