Laura Cormier
1946-2021
Laura Cormier, 74, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Stella
Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday January 28,
2021. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Adelard
and the late Dorilla (Collette) Saulnier.
She will be sadly missed by her special friend Emery Girouard, her
four children; Gisèle Maillet (Clarence), Murielle Cormier (John)
of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Carole Cormier (Srege) of Saint-Maurice,
Normand (Rachel) of Bouctouche, her nine grandchildren; Ricky,
René, Jason, Brandon, Allison, Christine, Julien, Samuel and
Miguel. She also leaves to mourn her four sisters; Viola Cormier
(Donald), Rita LeBlanc (Bernard), Fédora LeBlanc and Jeannine
Carroll (Roger) of Bouctouche, two brothers; Laurie Saulnier (Diane)
of Saint-Maurice, Emery Collette (Viola) of Bouctouche as well as
several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three brothers; Normand, Ulysse and
Gerard.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, there will be private
visitation and a private funeral service at a later date. Interment
will be in the Bouctouche Parish cemetery in the spring.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
