Obituary
Kornelia “Nel” Milatz, late of Weyburn, SK passed away March 25, 2021 at the age of 92 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Johannes and Cornelia van Staveren; husband Cornelis Milatz; daughter Corrie Klaptchuk; siblings: Corrie, Pieter, Nick, Jasper, Mart, Anneke, and Jan.
Kornelia is survived by her children: Anita (Alex) Wlodarczyk, Adelina (Chester) Helmeczi, Janet (Mark) Cameron, Mary Ann (Wayne) Whitman, Paul (Brenda) Milatz; son-in-law Frank Klaptchuk; grandchildren: Nicole (Marco) Giusti, Jennifer Wlodarczyk, Lauren (Rory) Neufeld, Vaughn (Tiffany) Wlodarczyk; Justin (Melissa), Zachary, Victoria Klaptchuk; Jozsua, Ingrid, Dorjan Helmeczi; Marika (Joel) Sherman, Alexander, Derek, Avery, Nathan Cameron; Kimberley, Brett, Tiana, Janaya Whitman; Danica (Craig) Donnelly, Rogan and Meagan Milatz;
her great grandchildren: Emma, Maria, Julia, Thomas Giusti; Theo Neufeld, Maya Dawson, Peter Sherman; Madalyn, Jessalyn, Jasmine Klaptchuk; Quinn, Jameson Donnelly; sisters, Lida Eldering and Jopie Hulsbosch; sisters-in-law: Elisabeth van Staveren , Trudy van Staveren, Riet van Staveren, Nel (Harding) Milatz; brothers-in-law, Frank Eldering and Cees van Egmond; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Prayers will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Celebrant Fr. Francis Plaparampil. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Brett Whitman, Alexander Cameron, Derek Cameron, Avery Cameron, Nathan Cameron and Vaughn Wlodarczyk. Honorary Pallbearers are members of Weyburn CWL. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, we all must abide by the province of Saskatchewan’s restrictions on public gatherings by limiting the number of people attending the service to 85 people.
