Obituary
Kenneth Marlon Suitor, “Marlon” of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully on December 25, 2021, at the age of 51. Marlon is survived by his two daughters, Ashley and Morgan; his brother and lifelong best friend, Shawn Suitor; his father, Ken (Bea) Suitor; his uncles, Rod Eresman, Donald Bennett, Joe (Selma) Suitor, Dennis (Darlene) Suitor; his cousin, Tanya Suitor as well as many other distant cousins. Marlon is predeceased by his grandparents, Wendell and Martha Eresman; Mary Suitor; his aunts, Eileen Egeland-Yates and Maureen Suitor; and his uncles, Sam and Rob Suitor.
Marlon was born on April 13, 1970, in High River, Alberta. Growing up mainly in Vulcan, Marlon lived with his brother on their grandparent’s farm. Eventually, Marlon settled in Calgary, Alberta working as a millwright. Marlon had a passion for playing pool with his brother, even going as far as to compete in Las Vegas. In the summer months, he enjoyed the outdoors and loved playing baseball. Marlon was an adventurous guy with a distinct laugh and always had a mischievous look in his eyes. If you were to ask him what he was most proud of, he would always tell you his two beautiful daughters.
Marlon’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you and sincere appreciation to the staff at Signal Pointe, Carewest for their loving care these past five years.
Due to the current situation, the family will be holding a celebration of Marlon’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the MS Society of Canada.
