We regret to announce the passing of Kenneth W. (George) Pringle, a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather, who passed away peacefully on Sunday evening (Sept 12) surrounded by wife Ida Leone (Sulliman) and 3 sons, Kenneth, Scott and Gregory at the Richmond Villa. George retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 17 years of service in 1976. During his career in the Armed Forces he served in the Canadian Black Watch and also a UN Peacekeeper, and served an additional 17 years in Special Forces Reserves.
He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #47, and also Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in St. Peter’s, Richmond Lodge #97.
He is by survived by his wife of 56 years, Ida Leone (Sulliman), Sons: Kenneth (Sheri) Newmarket Ont., their children Emily and Kenneth. Scott – Antigonish NS, his daughter Ellen (Mrs. Jonathan Brophy) New Glasgow NS, their children: Nora and Reese. Gregory, Saint John, N.B.
There will be a Graveside Service held on Tuesday September 21 at MacKay Cemetery in The Points at 2pm. Service will be co-officiated by Rev. Donna Loveace and Father Doug Murphy. Memorial Donations may be made to Richmond Villa in St. Peter’s
