Unexpectedly at home on May 2, 2021, Ken « Smitty » Smyth passed away at the age of 72.
Beloved husband of Helen (nee Duquette) for 52 years.
Loving father to Jennifer (Jeff Cammaert) MacLachlan and Bill (Taunia Seaton) Smyth.
Papa to Kelsey (Jesse Sims), Brady, and Bryce MacLachlan, Ryley Cammaret, and Eric and Emily Smyth.
Dear brother of Shirley Price, Gary (Ruth) Smyth and Nancy (Morley) Legue.
Predeceased by parents Sam and Ruby (nee Somerset) Smyth and brother Bill Smyth.
Survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Due to current COVID-19 protocols, the service for Ken will be a private family affair. For those hoping to view the service, the funeral home will be streaming the service live on Thursday, May 6 2021 at 2:00pm on the McKinlay Funeral Home website. Cremation to follow. A full celebration of life will be held at a later date.
