Obituary of Kathleen B Forsyth
We are heartbroken to announce that Kathleen ‘Kathy’ Forsyth of Prescott Ontario passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 58, at the Brockville General Hospital after a diagnosis of lung cancer 4 years ago.
Kathleen will be forever missed by her children Anthony Rice of Fort Erie Ontario, Crystal Rice of Prescott and Nicholas of Prescott, her loving partner and best friend Murray Robinson, grandchildren Savannah, Anthony, Drew and Katherine, brother Jim Edgar of Kingston, sisters Sandra Jackson of Kingston, Colleen Leduc (John) of Harrisons Corners, Janice McGillis (Gerry) of Harrisons Corners, Lorraine Vaughan (Rick) of Williamsburg, and Brenda Simser (Moe) of Brockville.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Thomas Forsyth, parents Edward and Kathleen Edgar and brother Hugh Edgar
Kathleen never sat idle! Her motto in life was ‘never give up’ and she never did. She was a kind and generous person who would drop everything to come to the aid of anyone in need.
She has undergone so much in the past four years while fighting cancer and has educated herself and all of us along the way. Even in her toughest battles Kathleen was a giver and a carer. She helped many a soul find their path. She was a loving person with a great sense of humour and a hardy and infectious laugh. We will miss her every day but she has left us with incredible memories and we know she is at peace now.
In accordance with her wishes, following cremation, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
