On December 2, 2021 we said goodbye to the most gracious and kind-hearted soul, our mother and grandmother, Kathleen (Murphy) Bennison. Grannie will be dearly missed by her sons Kevin and Gerald (Kelly) Bennison, son-in-law Bill (Carol) McKnight, grandchildren Jackie Boone, Robert (Tandarra) McKnight, Patrick (Vera) McKnight, Katelyn (Nick) Pittman, Shaelyn (Tyler) Bennison, Tyler (Kaylene) Bennison, and great-grandchildren Travis McKnight, William and Jack Pittman, and Neil McKnight. She will also be missed by her family in Ireland and England. Predeceased by her loving husband Albert Bennison (2008), daughter Frances Boone (2004), daughter Teresa McKnight (2005), sons Michael-Joe Bennison, and Victor Bennison. “When tomorrow starts without me don’t think we’re far apart. For every time you think of me I’m right here in your heart.” Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Inn of the Good Shepherd (cheques mailed to the funeral home or made online, please).
