FRASER, Kay – Born September 29th, 1943 at Ottawa Civic Hospital and went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday night, November 28th, 2021 after decades of severe pain resulting from a spinal disk injury in her mid-teens. The family attended church under several successive pastors who preached the Christian message from the Bible at a local church in Ottawa East, Calvary Baptist Church. Following high school, Kay held a number of successive government jobs. Lately she was succunded to the RCMP in Ottawa and when she moved to London, Ontario, she continued with the local branch as SKI-17 secretary to a branch head. Kay was a dedicated diligent worker with an open and pleasant personality. She joined in a few team sport activities, but enjoyed most in keeping her apartment “spic and span” on a Friday evening! And she often had 2 cats looking on approvingly! Jack had also moved to southern Ontario to Welland and they frequently would visit each other on weekends. It is much more than just a phrase to say that Kay will be greatly missed as she touched many lives with her genuine kindness and generosity for others, and no one will miss her more than Jack for the deep love and devotion they had for each other. God Bless you my darling sister! The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Saturday, December 4th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Due to the funeral home’s capacity lining-up and cycling of guests will be managed by the funeral home staff both indoors and outdoors.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private family service will take place. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
