It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Selinger (nee Corbett) on March 6, 2021 at the age of 74. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Regina General Hospital with her family by her side.
Karen will be forever missed by Jim, her husband of 45 years; her children and grandchildren Jamon (wife Raelyn, children Sienna, Jasper, Corbett and Jett), Lorelle (husband Kirby McGowan, son Duncan), Jana Coward (husband Perry Coward, son Chase), and Scott Felton (daughter Tatum); sister Jan Worobec, and brother Jim Corbett. She was predeceased by her parents Shirley and Avis Corbett and parent-in-laws John and Teresa Selinger.
Karen was born in Arborfield, SK, attended school in Prince Albert and later moved to Holdfast where she met Jim and raised her family. She was a farm wife, school bus driver, and small business owner. She was active in community organizations, enjoyed watching her children’s activities and later became a very proud grandma. She always enjoyed and valued her time with family and friends and was willing to lend a supportive ear or have a good laugh with anyone.
There will be no formal service. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, you may consider a donation in memory of Karen to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Holdfast, Saskatchewan.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Karen Selinger March 6th 2021..
